Life
With our highly trained staff, specialist facilities and philosophy of promoting happy, active and fulfilled lives, we aspire to provide the highest standards of support.
Food and Nutrition
Mealtimes represent an important social occasion and we work to ensure they are as enjoyable as possible, unhurried and relaxed with everyone given plenty of time to eat and enjoy their meal, while chatting and socialising with other residents.
We make a point of celebrating birthdays and special occasions, as well as celebrating and dressing up for national festivities and events such as St George’s Day, Mother’s Day and Burns Night
Our chefs prepare nutritious and delicious meals with drinks and snacks available throughout the day. We also cater for people who have specialist dietary needs.
Care and Support
We are committed to providing personalised support that promotes people to lead full, happy and independent lives. All our staff receive specialist training and mentoring and really get to know our residents. To achieve this, we spend time understanding their life story and the things that are important to them, so we focus on the things that really matter to them. All our residents have a named key worker who helps develop their own personalised care and support.
We hold a regular forum with residents, enabling them to voice their views on the day-to-day running of our home. We have strong links with local organisations in the community including Alzhemier’s Society, Age UK and local advocacy groups.
