Food and Nutrition

Mealtimes represent an important part of the day and a great social occasion and we work to ensure they are as enjoyable as possible, unhurried and relaxed with everyone being given plenty of time to eat and enjoy their meal while chatting and enjoying the company of friends.

At Cornwall Park we make a point of celebrating birthdays and special occasions, as well as national festivities such as St Andrew’s Day, Mother’s Day and Burns Night.

Our chefs prepare nutritious and delicious meals, which are freshly made in the home each day. We also cater for people who may have specialist dietary needs.

Relative
My Aunt has been in Cornwall Park for just over 15 months, much against her will, but necessary. She settled down well and likes her room, food and staff. I personally have found the staff empathetic to her needs and always a great atmosphere when we can visit. We hope once we can visit again all will be well.

Care and Support

We are committed to providing personalised care and support that encourages people to lead full, happy and independent lives. All our staff receive specialist training and mentoring.

Our staff really get to know the people we support. To achieve this, we spend time understanding their life story and the things that are important to them, so we focus on the things that really matter to them.

All our residents have a named key worker who helps develop their own personalised care.
